SALISBURY, Md. – Do you figure you could pull a plane with a rope? Well that is actually what gatherings did on Friday at the Salisbury Airport.
It was the ninth yearly plane force, an occasion facilitated by Piedmont Airlines that advantages the United Way of the Lower Eastern Shore.
Representatives, people group individuals, and volunteers could join to pull a stream airplane for fifteen feet.
Groups held the rope and pulled as hard as possible, all to see who could move the plane the quickest.
Piedmont Airline’s CEO says this is simply something little the organization can do to offer back to the network.
“It’s simply extremely extraordinary to have the option to offer back to the network, we owe such a great amount to this network, the Eastern shore, this is our home, and we’ve been doing business here for quite a while so it’s extremely pleasant for us to have the option to help the network,” Lyle Hogg, the President and CEO, said.
Hogg says the organization has no plans of halting the yearly custom at any point in the near future.
